About Aurore Abecassis, founder of Acmé
After training at HEC Paris, Aurore Abecassis worked for 5 years at LEK Consulting and Bain&Co, two international strategy consulting firms. She founded Acmé in 2019.
Passionate about new food, lifestyle and wellness experiences and concepts, she spends her free time hunting for ephemeral corners, third-party venues, new virtual experiences, and new hotels and restaurants in the world's major capitals.
This allows him to live unusual experiences: evening in the dark, night on a camel in the desert, lodge in the savannah, teepee in the middle of the trees, or capsule-sauna in the forest.
After several years in strategy consulting, Aurore decided to change direction. Seduced by entrepreneurship and events during her coaching sessions at Switch Collective, she embarked on the adventure of creating Acmé and its digital platform: Acmé House. The start-up is incubated at Willla, the incubator for female Tech entrepreneurship.
"The event industry is very competitive, especially for young female entrepreneurs. So I used my background in strategy consulting and the tools of Tech to rethink event planning," she explains.
Committed to the promotion of female entrepreneurship, Aurore has led the Boost'her workshop at HEC Entrepreneur, and regularly speaks at conferences. She is also a member of Comète, a private business club that connects women to boost their careers.
Her latest project is AftHER work, a group of ambitious women entrepreneurs that aims to create mutual support within the community and reveal the future inspiring women of tomorrow.
Acmé, the event agency for French unicorns, accelerates its growth and recruits new talent
France has become a land of innovative companies and has 26 unicorns this year (source). And this is just the beginning! In 2021, French startups broke all records in terms of fundraising (source) and they are now talking about them abroad.
However, they cannot rely on technology alone to perform. To last, to reinvent themselves and to continue to innovate, they need motivated and united employees, who will go beyond their daily tasks.
In this field where turnover is high and where teleworking can generate a lot of demotivation, especially after two years of pandemic, it is urgent to create cohesion between employees and to offer them moments of escape, emotion and lightness. A must to bring team members together and to give managers a boost.
However, in the world of Tech, "old school" team buildings are definitely obsolete. To make a lasting impression, you need to add a touch of the extraordinary and push the limits of the imagination.
It is precisely this ability to go beyond the expectations of its clients that has made the reputation of Acmé, the event management start-up. Renowned for its exceptional events, it has earned the trust of prestigious clients such as LVMH, JO 2024, BNP Paribas...
Today, driven by strong demand, the young company is expanding by recruiting new talent and daring to develop internationally.
Acmé, the agency that goes from digital to physical... and vice versa
In the age of telecommuting and isolation, how do you successfully unite teams and provide them withimmersive experiencesthat leave a lasting impression?
Acmé offers solutions to create extraordinary getaways in unusual places. This is the case of the Acmé House, a digital platform that connects people in a hybrid way (physical and digital).
Very innovative, since it allowed Acmé to obtain the French Tech grant from the BPI, the Acmé House makes it possible to explore the universe of the metaverse.
Aurore Abecassis, the founder, emphasizes:
The meta-verse can be a real source of well-being when there is a real strategic reflection upstream! It is thus possible to aggregate and solve HR issues as well as the acculturation of employees thanks to the world of Tech.
Moreover, several steps can be taken to raise awareness of this new technology, notably via experiences ranging from virtual reality to augmented reality, such as the Paris Ball, or the start-up Eva. Teams will gradually become familiar with this new concept
An intense recruitment campaign
Always on the lookout for new skills and promising talent, Acmé is recruiting a dozen employees :
Right-hand man to the CEO (internship);
Project Manager (CDI) ;
Ops Managers (CDI) ;
Business Developer (CDI) ;
Office Manager (Freelance) ...
Focus on two events realized in France for Ami Paris
To avoid turnover, companies are faced with a major challenge: to manage to disconnect employees from their work environment through collaborative events and retreats, within the same corporate culture.
This was particularly the case for Ami Paris, which was faced with rapid growth and the expansion of its teams. Alexandre Mattiussi, the company's director, therefore called on Acmé to create two exceptional events for managers and employees respectively.
The goal was to take them to a setting that was a complete break from their daily lives, around a theme that would allow them to disconnect and decompress. An enchanting universe that also had to be translated into concrete and inspiring activities for their future work.
And always with a guarantee of exceptional service, so that everyone can enjoy a premium experience that is resolutely out of the ordinary.
Acmé successfully met the challenge! These immersive experiences received a customer satisfaction rating of 10/10 and were immortalized by a professional photographer.
