UN General Assembly: an event for sustainable commitment

When the UN's Global Compact Network France asked us to orchestrate its annual flagship event, we understood that this was no mere institutional event. The idea was to create an exceptional, ethical and exemplary day, in keeping with the network's environmental and societal ambitions. Acmé loves it when the challenge is logistical, symbolic and responsible. And we love it when it happens... at the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac, no less.

  • As soon as the 2024 General Assembly of the Global Compact France Network was announced, the event established itself as a must-attend event for CSR players.
A symbolic venue: the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac, and a clear promise: to mobilize, inspire and unite around the Sustainable Development Goals.

  • When the day arrives, the ambition takes shape: responsible scenography, ethical signage, controlled planting, and an atmosphere conducive to exchange.

The Annual General Meeting takes place in a structured, dynamic setting, followed by a high-level round table where politicians, business leaders and experts discuss CSR issues.
The cocktail reception extends the exchanges in a convivial, coherent setting, where environmental commitment is also reflected on the plate. An institutional and elegant event, in keeping with the mission of the Global Compact - France Network.

  • In the days that followed, the fallout took over.
An inspiring aftermovie, interviews broadcast on social networks, visible and lasting mobilization. The event not only strengthened the cohesion of the community, but also affirmed the network's place as a key player in CSR in France. An exemplary format, flawless execution: Acmé produced an event that left an indelible mark on people's minds, and one that conveyed meaning.

The brief: create a community with meaning and elegance

The Global Compact Network France, with over 2,000 members - the majority of them SMEs - has set itself a mission: to bring CSR to life on a daily basis in France, and to give impetus to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at every level of the company. The General Meeting 2024 therefore had to embody this ambition, bring members together, create links, stimulate exchanges and affirm a sustainable commitment in every detail.

The watchword? A fluid, useful, convivial day, without frills but not without panache, where every interaction would be designed to inspire and mobilize CSR players.

A tailor-made, institutional & elegant CSR event

To welcome 350 people, including executives, decision-makers, experts and potentially a government representative, the venue had to be just right. The Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac was the obvious choice: institutional, elegant and full of meaning.

Acmé therefore took charge of coordinating all the service providers (caterers, security, signage, video recording, etc.), while ensuring the overall coherence of the proposed experience. We imagined a turnkey event, meeting a dual requirement: operational efficiency and environmental exemplarity.

Sobriety for events, responsible scenography and subtle greening

In terms of design and staging, we created a responsible, elegant yet sober scenography, designed to enhance the message rather than the container. Furniture, stage structures and signage were all selected according to sustainability criteria, in line with PMRF's values.

Event-driven vegetation, recycled materials, eco-responsible decor... even the flowers were dried. Nothing was left to chance. And because at Acmé, the human element is as central as the message, the layout of the CSR networking spaces was designed to promote exchanges, encourage meetings and strengthen links between members.

A committed menu for a responsible cocktail party

Let's not talk too much, let's talk well... let's talk food.

We imagined a responsible cocktail luncheon, with sweet and savory items produced locally, in season, without products from intensive agriculture. Vegan and vegetarian options, ethical sourcing, no waste: each bite told a story of commitment. A permanent break offered responsible snacks and hot drinks for the more studious (or the more talkative).

A sober but striking visual identity

To reinforce the impact of the day, Acmé designed a bespoke graphic identity in line with the UN Global Compact charter. Digital invitations, ethical signage, personalized badges and print materials were all designed to ensure consistency and visibility for the PMRF brand.

The aim is to ensure that every point of contact with the event is a reminder of the network's responsible commitments, without ever weighing down the experience.

Videos, interviews, aftermovie: vivid memories of an exemplary event

Because a good event deserves a good record, we also managed the production of a summary film and 15 interviews with the speakers, to feed the social networks and spread the word about the day beyond the walls of the museum.

A dynamic format, shot and edited in record time (48 hours), to deliver high-impact content that's as inspiring as it is informative.

Result: a smooth, unifying and impactful day

From the coffee reception to the museum visit at the end of the day, the timing was perfect. Round-table discussions provided the opportunity for high-level exchanges, while moments of relaxation were conducive to CSR networking. The Annual General Meeting was more than just a formality: it was a high point of mobilization.

Acmé delivered a carefully calibrated, committed corporate event, aligned with the values of the Global Compact - Réseau France, while embodying a tangible and visible environmental commitment.

The art of organizing a CSR event

Creating a successful CSR convention involves more than just a few green gestures. It requires systemic coherence, a tailor-made approach, and the ability to orchestrate the beautiful, the fluid and the sustainable in a single movement.

With the General Assembly of the UN Global Compact - France Network, Acmé once again demonstrated its expertise as an agent of change, capable of transforming an institutional requirement into an immersive, unifying experience.

Global Compact Réseau France is the national branch of the United Nations Global Compact, the world's leading initiative for corporate social responsibility. It supports over 1,700 organizations in France in integrating human rights, labor standards, the environment and the fight against corruption.

Through tools, training and the sharing of best practices, Réseau France helps companies align their actions with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while fostering constructive dialogue between the private sector, civil society and institutions.
