Google Summer Party: Two Summers, Two Worlds, Renewed Trust
For two summers in a row, Google France has hosted its must-attend Summer Party, bringing together nearly 700 employees each year for a festive and unifying celebration. In 2025, we’re heading back to the ’90s with the Google Pop Culture Bash, a nostalgic party set in a transformed Parisian high school. In 2026, we’re heading outdoors for the Sundaze Festival, a summer party with a festival twist.
Two distinct visions, one signature style: that of Acmé, which has completely revitalized its creative universe while maintaining the high standards of execution that made the first edition such a success.
-
Each edition was preceded by a teaser campaign designed to build anticipation: themed “save the date” announcements, clues released in the run-up to the event, and a call for applications for “Google’s Got Talent.” All of this turned the invitation into a promise of an event not to be missed under any circumstances.
-
From one edition to the next, the highlight has taken on a different form without ever losing any of its intensity: the dance floor ablaze with ’90s hits in 2025, and the live performance by the band Le Biscuit under the summer sky in 2026. Two highlights, the same collective energy.
-
Photo booths, personalized giveaways, festival wristbands, or retro accessories: each event leaves a tangible mark on employees’ daily lives. Two years later, the Summer Party spirit continues to linger in the hallways of Google.
One breath, over the course of two summers
Two summers, one trusted partner. In both 2025 and 2026, Google entrusted Acmé with organizing its Summer Party, a must-attend event that brings together nearly 700 employees. Each edition was designed to be a fully immersive experience, featuring striking set design, a live music lineup, and activities designed for everyone, while adhering to accessibility and social responsibility standards.
Beyond the numbers, both projects were guided by the same spirit: a celebration conceived as a shared moment, where every detail—from the welcome area to the final note of music—contributes to a seamless experience and transforms a simple gathering into a unifying memory, year after year.
2026 Edition
: A Man Immersed in '90s Pop Culture
In 2025, Google Pop Culture Bash transported the teams to a Parisian high school transformed into a ’90s pop culture setting: neon lights, iconic posters, vintage arcade games, and DJ sets mixing the hits of the era. With blind tests, karaoke, and dance contests, the evening embraced nostalgia head-on, driven by an artistic direction faithful to the visual and auditory styles of the decade.
Each room in the high school became a stage in its own right, revealing a new facet of this retro world as the evening wore on. The themed photo booths and vintage props allowed everyone to leave with a lasting memory, keeping the energy of this timeless escape alive well past midnight.
2026 Edition
: The Great Outdoors as a Festival
In 2026, head to the Sundaze Festival: an outdoor summer party on par with the biggest music events, designed to last from sunset until the end of the night. Banners, signage, and festival posters adorned the outdoor areas of the Pavillon La Chesnaie du Roy, which was designed to accommodate 700 employees with full accessibility, including for people with limited mobility.
On the program: Google's Got Talent, a live performance by Le Biscuit, a DJ set, a cocktail bar, and a generous, sustainable buffet by Traiteur Thomas.
Loyalty that speaks for itself
Entrusting the organization of its Summer Party to the same agency two years in a row is no coincidence. It’s a sign of deep-rooted trust and high standards that were met right from the very first event. By choosing Acmé for 2025 and then for 2026, Google has validated the agency’s ability to reinvent itself without ever losing sight of the big picture: two radically different visual and auditory worlds, yet the same meticulous attention to detail in execution, from concept to logistics on the day of the event.
This loyalty reflects proven expertise and renewed creativity, capable of surprising an audience that was already won over by the first edition.

Curious corner
-
The first edition, which focused on the 1990s, demonstrated the ability to create a powerful and flawlessly executed immersive experience. This success naturally led Google to renew its trust in the project for a second edition, with the goal of exploring a completely different universe while maintaining the same high standards.
-
The 2025 edition capitalized on the nostalgia and retro vibe of a Parisian high school transformed into a 1990s pop culture scene. The 2026 edition took the opposite approach, featuring a lively summer atmosphere inspired by music festivals, set in the outdoor spaces of the Pavillon La Chesnaie du Roy.
-
Guests enjoyed retro arcade games, blind tests, karaoke, DJ sets, dance contests, themed photobooths and food trucks serving up iconic 90s dishes.
-
By starting from scratch for each edition rather than replicating a tried-and-true formula. The concept, stage design, artistic programming, and activities have been completely reimagined, allowing each Summer Party to surprise an audience that is already familiar with the event.
-
This continuity allows us to capitalize on our in-depth understanding of the company culture and employees’ expectations, while ensuring a consistent level of quality. It also fosters bolder creativity, as the agency no longer needs to prove its reliability and can instead focus on conceptual innovation.
-
Acmé handled the creative design, art direction, set design, planning of entertainment and artist lineups, selection of catering and technical service providers, as well as the complete logistical coordination of both events—from the initial briefing phase through to the day of the event—ensuring compliance with the accessibility and safety requirements specific to each edition.
