Acmé in a nutshell
Founded in 2019 by Aurore Abecassis, Acmé is a premium event agency based in Paris that creates brand events and identity-defining experiences for discerning clients. From product launches, gala evenings, conventions, seminars, and retreats to client events, every project is tailor-made, and every story is unique.
The agency operates at the intersection of brand strategy, creative design, and event production. Named “Agency of the Year for Brand Innovation” in 2025, Acmé has experienced steady growth since its founding and works with leading brands (in tech, luxury, institutional, and lifestyle sectors) both in France and internationally.
Why join an event planning agency like Acmé?
-
Acmé doesn’t produce run-of-the-mill events. Every project is conceived as a work of art, shaped by the client brand’s DNA. Joining the agency means becoming part of a team where creativity takes precedence over standardization, where boldness is encouraged, and where every idea has a place.
-
The agency works with leading brands in the tech, luxury, institutional, and lifestyle sectors. The projects entrusted to Acmé are strategic in nature: product launches, international conferences, VIP experiences, influencer events, and more. This offers a rare opportunity to engage with the most cutting-edge projects in the industry.
-
Acmé is a rapidly growing agency. This environment offers real opportunities to take on leadership roles, help build out business units, and advance quickly for the talented individuals who join us on this journey. Ambitious professionals will find a workplace that matches their aspirations.
-
The Acmé team operates like a startup: mutual support, knowledge sharing, and ownership of projects. The agency’s culture is demanding yet supportive, built on transparency and trust established early on. The talent that joins Acmé works in an environment where everyone is both independent and supported.
The Acmé experience is also something you live from the inside: the year is punctuated by key events (Acmé Circle, Experiencing the Experience, Training, offsites) and informal get-togethers that bring the team closer together.
-
All members of Acmé share a common goal: to uncover what is true about a brand and bring it to life. This philosophy informs our work processes, briefs, and creative decisions. The people who join the agency share this commitment to authenticity, precision, and beauty.
The recruitment process
1. Initial meeting with the Talent team (20 minutes)
A call to discuss your background and motivation and to assess your fit with the role and the agency’s culture.
2. Job interview (20 minutes)
A discussion with Armand, Associate Director, or with the head of the relevant division, depending on the position. This is an opportunity to learn more about the role, the expected responsibilities, and how we work together.
3. Immersion Day with the Team
Spend a day with the Acmé Homies to get an unfiltered look at the agency’s day-to-day operations. A live case study lets you get a concrete sense of what the role entails. This step is optional for experienced candidates and is included by default in the internship program.
4. Conversation with the founder (15 minutes)
A direct conversation with Aurore Abecassis, founder and CEO of Acmé, to discuss her vision, assess cultural fit, and identify what truly drives the candidate.
5. Cross-referencing
In parallel, we will conduct a reference check with former Acmé Homies and the candidate’s contacts. This step is intended to verify the consistency of the candidate’s background and the quality of the team.
6. Job posting and offer
A final meeting with CEO and founder Aurore and Armand, Head of Sales and Associate Director (and the business manager, if applicable), during which the job offer is presented. The candidate may leave the meeting with a job offer.
