Welcome to Wonderland 2.0

Meta, an American firm that needs no introduction, is a giant of social networks. Their wish: to bring together artificial intelligence teams in a context of pandemic and social distancing. We took up the challenge by concocting a totally online, immersive and memorable event for the participants.

 
  • To generate excitement and maximize participation in this hybrid event, we implemented several key moments encapsulated in a platform specially created for the event. It served as a townhall and guaranteed a total immersion in the universe of the Game and Alice in Wonderland to provide a return to childhood. Like an invitation to play, it seduced the participants with its sparkling and acidulous colors.

  • The key moments of the event marked the teams by their diversity: discovery of an immersive digital universe in the world of dreams, online photo booth with goodies matching the theme of the toy, blind test or escape game. So many opportunities to meet and have a good time, even though the event brought together more than 10 Meta offices around the world.

  • To make the effect of this event last as long as possible, participants received photos of their day and a teaser of the various highlights, all of which are memorable memories. The participants then answered a questionnaire to make future events even more sensational! The event was a real success with an NPS of 9.8/10, team building and facilitated meetings.

Expectations of the former Facebook

Through this event, Meta's expectations were to bring together employees from all over the world, and to engage the teams to create links in a post-Covid context.

On top of that, we had to celebrate the recent news: the group's name change from "Facebook" to "Meta"! In the context of the end-of-year celebrations, we wanted to mark the occasion by organizing the biggest digital event ever, while taking our employees back to childhood.

On the program of this memorable international phygital event

The Welcome to Wonderland event was notable for its hybrid nature: we mixed events and digital, creating an immersive and customized program that we deployed with Meta's HR teams to several thousand employees. Before the event, we sent out a save the date and produced a teaser to get participants excited and create Fomo. We also had the idea to prepare many surprises for the guests until the day of the event.

At the Acme, at the time of the event, everything was built like a giant escape game, in order to make it easier to wait for the big final game: a digital blindtest gathering 10 offices located all over the world.

Wonderland: a personalized platform in the image of Meta

For the first time, we created Wonderland: a white-label interactive platform 100% customized to the brand's image, including a digital photobooth designed in the toy universe. This platform provided a guaranteed immersion: background music, an immersive and visual universe on the theme of the toy, a password to access Wonderland generating a perception of privilege for the participants... The whole platform was accompanied by unusual animations to facilitate the user's journey and make the experience memorable and fun.

A result that lives up to our ambitions: delighted participants

With an NPS of 9.8/10, participants highlighted the ease of communication between teams and people from different countries and the opportunity to meet new people.

To make the effect of this event last as long as possible, the participants received photos of their day as well as the teaser showing the different highlights. So many memorable memories captured to give a "Halo" effect.

A new name that gives way to a new mission: to animate the metaverse to facilitate exchanges between Internet users and their loved ones, to expand existing communities, and to amplify the voices of new communities, and to expand their business. More concretely, the metaverse is a virtual universe in which people can interact to offer new dimensions in online relationships. META immerses its users in a triad of immersive experiences with other Internet users, regardless of distance. Its goal: To make the impossible of the real, a reality of the virtual.
