A unique incentive seminar in Lapland

There are adventures that cannot be told. This was the spirit behind the IWC (IAD World Challenge) Lapland 2024, an exceptional incentive trip organized by IAD to reward its top salespeople. Entrusted to Acmé, this project had a clear ambition: to offer participants from the four corners of the globe an incredible, timeless experience in the heart of Lapland, a land of ice filled with legends. An ideal setting for combining professional excellence with memorable experiences.

  • Acmé developed an immersive communication strategy for IAD to arouse the desire and enthusiasm of participants. Guests discovered their explorer profile thanks to a fun, personalized questionnaire that immersed them in the world of the seminar.

In addition, a practical checklist was shared, helping participants to prepare their belongings without forgetting anything: clothes adapted to the polar cold, specific accessories for activities, and even a few recommendations to maximize their comfort during the stay.

  • The highlight of the IWC Lapland 2024 was when participants were able to admire the Northern Lights. Under clear skies, participants experienced a magical moment as they admired this unique spectacle, a symbol of the beauty and exceptionality of this journey.

  • To prolong the experience of the IWC Lapland 2024, the goodies kit, including an engraved compass and a map of Lapland, has been designed to rekindle the magic of the journey.

What's more, participants were able to find all the photos of the event online, enabling guests to share and relive the highlights.

An adventure inspired by the quest for gold and its seekers

To inject a captivating dynamic into the seminar, Acmé drew inspiration from the history of Kittilä, home to Europe's largest gold mine. This narrative thread gave rise to the idea of "modern-day gold hunters", a metaphor designed to enhance the quest for opportunity and self-improvement that drives IAD independents around the world. Participants were sent profiling questionnaires to form explorer teams based on their skills and backgrounds.

On arrival, participants received an explorer's kit containing a compass, a polar hat and a treasure-hunting map. These symbolic items invited them to explore their potential while immersing themselves in the magical setting of Lapland. From the outset, the atmosphere was one of collective exploration.

Immerse yourself in the Northern Lights

After settling into one of Levi's finest hotels, guests were transported into a magical world. Light curtains reminiscent of the northern lights, spaces furnished with natural materials, and decorations inspired by Saami mythology: every detail contributed to immerse participants in a unique atmosphere.

But more than just a setting, it was a real immersion experience. Everything in this environment told a story. A story in which every employee was invited to become an explorer, ready to face challenges and create unforgettable memories.

Four days of unforgettable experiences

The IWC Lapland 2024 program has been designed to balance moments of introspection, collective challenges and cultural discoveries:

The call of the great outdoors

Participants enjoyed a dog sled ride, guided by experienced mushers, through the icy forests of Lapland. But that's not all: they also took part in an introduction to ice fishing, concluded by a warm moment around a fire, where Saami storytellers shared local legends. Finally, the IAD teams were able to admire the Northern Lights in a restaurant with panoramic views in the heart of the mountains.

Adrenalin and team spirit

Participants competed in an ice karting competition, where team spirit and strategy made all the difference. They also built a Saami teepee together, a challenge that stimulated their creativity and practicality. The day ended with an evening of Joiku singing, immersing everyone in the local culture.

Traditions and spirituality

The teams discovered a reindeer farm and the essential role of these animals in Saami culture. A visit to a private spa allowed them to relax with treatments inspired by nature. They also met a Saami shaman, who shared with them rituals and beliefs linked to local spirituality.

A memorable finale

The trip ended with a gala dinner on a frozen lake, illuminated by torches and light projections. A medal ceremony celebrated the highlights and successes of this adventure, leaving everyone with a lasting memory.

Explorers with varied profiles

To reinforce the commitment of participants, each employee was invited to join a group corresponding to his or her explorer profile:

  • Les Conquérants, for those drawn to physical challenges and action.

  • The Savants, passionate about knowledge and natural discoveries.

  • Les Passeurs, curious about cultural traditions and stories.

  • Idealists, visionaries and community builders.

This concept enabled everyone to project themselves into a specific role and experience an adventure that resonated with their own personality. This segmentation also fostered a collective dynamic, where collaboration and interaction were at the heart of the activities.

A lasting impact for IAD

The IWC Lapland 2024 was much more than just a seminar. It was an opportunity to create strong bonds between participants, inspire them to explore new perspectives, and reinforce their sense of belonging to the IAD community.

Feedback from participants was unanimous: this trip will remain engraved in their memories as a source of personal and professional inspiration. The quality of the exchanges, the beauty of the landscapes and the richness of the activities helped to anchor this experience in a unique dimension.

Acmé, creator of emotions

Organizing such an event at the end of the world represented a logistical and creative challenge. Acmé believes that every project is an opportunity to prove that it is possible to create the extraordinary, even in the most remote locations.

In Lapland, this ambition came to life in perfect harmony between storytelling, immersive scenography and fluid experience management. The success of IWC Lapland 2024 rests on Acmé's ability to transform a vision into a tangible reality, offering unforgettable memories to every participant.
