An incentive seminar under the Rio sun

Following the resounding success of IWC Lapland 2024, IAD has once again placed its trust in Acmé for an even more solar-powered edition.

Heading to Rio de Janeiro for the IAD World Challenge 2025: an exceptional incentive seminar bringing together the network’s top real estate advisors from all corners of the globe. The same ambition as in Lapland: to offer an extraordinary experience that will be etched in participants’ memories, but in a completely different vein—one of human warmth, joie de vivre, and pushing one’s limits. From the favelas to the peaks of Corcovado, Rio served as the backdrop for a journey that celebrated both individual achievements and the strength of the IAD collective.

  • Even before the start, the excitement was palpable. The participants knew they were about to experience something unique; those who had been to Lapland were still talking about it. For the 2025 edition, Acmé crafted a pre-event communication strategy designed to build anticipation: visual teasers in Rio’s colors, a program rolled out in phases, and personalized storytelling centered on the trip’s three core values. Even before setting foot in Brazil, every participant had already begun to dream.

  • The highlight of the IWC Rio 2025? That moment suspended atop Corcovado, facing Christ the Redeemer, when the statue’s wide-open arms seemed to embrace both the city and all the gathered participants. A moment rich in meaning—one of overcoming challenges, of accomplishment, and of the pride of belonging to a community moving forward together toward new heights.

  • Rio is unforgettable. And the participants of the IWC 2025 know this better than anyone. The smiles in the photos, the laughter on the catamaran, the emotions on the roof of the world: these are memories that last long after the trip is over, and that strengthen the sense of belonging to the IAD community a little more each day. For the second year in a row, Acmé has proven its ability to transform a trip into a life-changing experience.

A new edition born of renewed confidence

The success of IWC Lapland 2024 presented a clear challenge for the future: how to match—or even surpass—that success in a completely different setting? IAD once again entrusted this challenge to Acmé, with the same ambition: to offer the network’s top advisors an experience that exceeds their expectations, rewards them commensurate with their efforts , and strengthens their connection to the IAD community.

Rio de Janeiro was the obvious choice. A city of contrasts, energy, and beauty, it naturally embodied the three themes chosen for this edition: resilience, sharing, and joie de vivre. An iconic yet deeply human setting, it was the ideal place to celebrate unique journeys and collective aspirations.

Storytelling tailored for Rio

As with the Lapland edition, Acmé has built the IWC Rio 2025 around a strong narrative thread. Three perspectives, three journeys, three ways of embodying the IAD spirit:

Resilience, spontaneity, and creativity—for those whose journey has been marked by overcoming doubts and rediscovering courage. A spirit of sharing and a sense of community —for those whose strength comes from the connections and bonds forged within the network. A zest for life and a forward-looking outlook —for those driven by ambition and the desire to reach ever higher.

These three stories shaped the entire trip, giving every moment spent in Rio a deeper meaning and allowing each participant to see themselves reflected in a story that resonated with them.

Three days of adventures in the heart of Rio

The IWC Rio 2025 program has been designed to showcase Rio in all its facets, offering cultural immersion, shared adventures, and moments of celebration.

Exploring one's roots

The trip began in the bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa, perched on the hills of Rio. The participants explored its colorful alleyways on a guided tour before gathering at Aprazivel, the neighborhood’s iconic restaurant, for lunch with a view overlooking the city. The afternoon continued with an introduction to caipirinha, followed by a deep dive into the heart of a samba school: dance lessons, meetings with the dancers, and a traditional dinner on site. A first day to get a feel for Rio, blending cultural heritage with infectious energy.

Opening up to the world

The next day, the group set sail aboard a private catamaran for a regatta in Guanabara Bay, enjoying lunch on board with a view of Sugarloaf Mountain. The afternoon was spent relaxing on the legendary beaches of Ipanema and Leblon, followed by free time to explore the waterfront at their own pace. The evening wrapped up at a churrascaria in Botafogo, featuring generous portions of grilled meats and a festive atmosphere, followed by recommendations for bars to keep the night going.

Reaching new heights

The final day was all about pushing beyond one’s limits. The climb up Corcovado, facing the Christ the Redeemer statue, offered a rare moment of togetherness: a panoramic view of Rio, a shared sense of emotion, and the feeling of having accomplished everything. After lunch at Copacabana Fort, the participants enjoyed the Brazilian beaches one last time before the goodbye party: a rooftop setting at sunset, a DJ set, a musical performance, and a major surprise: a meeting with a Flamengo legend. A finale worthy of the journey.

Three stories, one community

Much like the Lapland edition with its profiles of explorers, the IWC Rio 2025 was designed to make every participant feel like the protagonist of their own story. The three narrative threads—resilience, sharing, and ambition—were not merely decorative themes: they shaped the discussions, resonated throughout the activities, and gave meaning to the shared moments.

This narrative approach, a hallmark of Acmé, transforms an incentive seminar into a truly identity-defining experience. People don’t just come to be rewarded; they come to experience something that resonates with who they are, alongside others who share their values. It is this feeling—difficult to evoke but so powerful when it emerges—that Acmé strives to create at every event.

Acmé, architect of human experiences

Two destinations, two worlds, two successful events. What IWC Rio 2025 proves is that Acmé doesn’t just design trips: Acmé creates meaningful experiences. Every detail of the program—from the choice of the restaurant perched above Santa Teresa to the meeting with the Flamengo legend—was designed to advance the narrative, evoke emotion, and strengthen the bond between participants and their network.

Organizing an event of this scale on the other side of the world requires flawless logistical expertise and creative sensitivity at every stage. It is this combination of “operational rigor and storytelling brought to life” that defines Acmé’s signature style, and explains why IAD has once again entrusted them with writing the next chapter of IWC’s story.

Curious corner

  • After the winter magic of Lapland, Rio stood out as its exact opposite: sunshine, energy, vibrant colors, and warm hospitality. A city that naturally embodies the values of this edition—resilience, sharing, and a zest for life—and offers an exceptional setting for creating unforgettable memories.

  • Three themes shaped the experience: resilience and creativity for those who press on despite obstacles; sharing and community for those whose strength comes from their connections; and a zest for life for those who always look toward the horizon. Every participant could see themselves reflected in one of these journeys.

  • The climb up Corcovado is undoubtedly the highlight of the trip, a moment filled with shared emotion, where the panoramic view of Rio and the presence of Christ the Redeemer offered a symbolic pause to reflect on the journey so far.

  • The success of the Lapland trip laid the foundation for a relationship built on trust. Acmé had proven its ability to create much more than just a trip: a powerful identity-building experience that aligned with IAD’s values. For Rio, the goal was the same: to go even further.

  • Beyond individual recognition, the IWC strengthens the sense of belonging to the network a little more each year. Participants leave feeling transformed, more motivated, more connected to their peers, and more committed to the values that are the strength of the IAD community.
